Jarivar Station

Jarivar Station is an independent space station and shadowport situated in the vast region of space known as the Sea of Argus. The sea covers a large area of space, which originally contained four stars and their planetary bodies. Some 40,000 years ago the largest of these suns went supernova for unknown reasons. This explosion set off the other three suns destroying all the planetoids in the region. The result was the creation of an asteroid field that covers light years. This asteroid field was named the Sea of Argus.

The station was originally established for asteroid mining over 4000 years ago. Originally it served as the main processing plant, and then it became more of a support hub for mining ships. When the asteroids began to play themselves out the station changed hands many times. Its current owner is unknown.

Over the millennia the station has received many upgrades and modifications. This has resulted in a vast and sprawling entity. The station is capable of docking dozens of craft of all sizes. The station has all manner of shops and facilities to support its function as a shadowport, it even has an established ship yard which can produce knock off space craft.

The only trade prohibited on the Station is that of slavery. All other criminal enterprises are relatively common.
